Solution: Package: Testing a site design package using the ez.no demo site

Brief
If you would like to test out a site design (css + images + files) package without installing it on your own eZ publish installation you can do so very simply. Use the ez.no demo site
Steps
- Login to the Admin interface (Log in with username: admin and password: publish)
- Go to the Package Admin, Import the package (requires you to first download the package to your local machine to upload it to the demo site, example packages available from ez.no)
- Go to the Design Admin, select “Look and Feel“, select the newly available design, save your changes.
- Go to the Cache Admin, Clear All Cache
- Load / refresh the user demo site in your browser: http://devel.ezpublish.no/
Voila!
- You can use WinRAR to extract files from contributed designs files.
- You also can browse ezpackage files using Total Commander for Windows.
