Troubleshooting

Fatal error: cannot instantiate non-existing class: lucene

When trying to search the portal, you get a fatal PHP error like this:

Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: lucene in kernel/classes/ezsearch.php on line 104
 Fatal error: eZ publish did not finish its request

You probably didn't install the necessary patches to the eZ publish kernel. Please read the install doc carefully.
